Innovation is the heart of Brunswick.See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:Position Overview:As part of the talentedFreedom Boat Club Operations teamtheDock Experience Managerserves as the primary leader at the location level to ensure consistent delivery of remarkable member and employee experiences while driving accountability of fleet condition and exceeding performance addition to running the dailylogisticsof the area location(s)youwill be expected to perform all dutiesrequiredofthe Dock Staff.This position isfull-time and requires availability on weekdaysweekendsand holidays.At Brunswick we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.Essential Functions:Hiretrain and supervise all dock level personnel to ensure our members receive the highest level of service at all locationsEnsure all dock staff have proper certifications and up-to-date trainingEnsure all best practices and SOPs are communicated and adhered to as detailed in our dock staff manual policies and procedures and knowledge resourcesDevelop monthly dock staffscheduleto maximize efficiency and review and approve should insert yourself into the schedule for a regular dock day cadence.Travel to locations within the district to support employeesmonitordepartmental efficiencies and ensure fleet ismaintainedto brand standardsMaintain a cooperative team attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees to drive positive employee engagementHold employees consistently accountable to performance management expectations and complete annual performance evaluationsEnsure adequate inventory and supply levels are beingmaintainedat each locationCorrespond with members on all location related issues including but not limited to complaints fuel disputes vesseldamagesand miscellaneous dock chargesInvestigate member misconduct and complete all incident reportsResponsible for member satisfaction and retention; Review general member concerns and analyze Qualtrics member feedback on a regular basis and takeappropriate actionasEnsure fleet condition is up to brand standards and in constant state of readiness usingFleetiothe fleet software system and best practicesEnsure employees are completing tasks inFleetioincluding but not limited to inspections issues/incidents work orders inventory and ordering parts/suppliesto ensure all needs are being addressedin a timely mannerCreate and execute a weekly cleaning and maintenance schedule to ensure all vessels aremaintainedatthe best possible condition.Take ownership of one model vessel per location.Submit work orders to the Maintenance Operations Center to ensure all fleet needs are being addressedin a timely mannerMaintain KPIs at each location including reservation reports usage reports and time sheetsMaintain and manage operating budget and control costsfor each locationMaintainaccuratefuel logs and ensure all vessels are fueled regularlyAcquaint yourself with local marina managers/harbormastersand promote a positive working relationship in all marinasBecome familiar with local waterways and popular boating destinations surrounding your club and adhere to all safety policiesProvide process improvement input and suggestions to your managerEnsure personal appearance and uniform guidelines are being adhered toResponsible for all safety performance at each location;Operatewithin prescribed safety SOPs and proactively ensure member and employee safetyLead dock staff all hands meetingsAll other duties as assignedDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however others can be developed along the way.Required Qualifications:Pass a background check and drug screenHigh school diploma or equivalentAssociates or Vocational degreeMust be at least 21 years of ageValid drivers licenseAbility tomaintaina calm positive attitude during periods of high activityStrong verbal and written communication and people skillsMust be a self-starter and capable of working unsupervisedManagerial and diplomacy skillsOrganizational skills and attention to detailAnalytical decision-making and problem-solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related softwarePreferred Qualifications:Bachelors degreeOr1-3 years of related operations experienceBoating safety ID cardVessel livery operators certificationExperience in and around boats is desirableAbility to perform minor boat maintenancePrior management experienceWorking Conditions:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerProlonged periods standing/walkingProlonged periods driving to dock locationsAbility to work outdoors inall weather conditionsMust be able tolift upto 30 pounds at timeMust be able to board and un-board boatsMust be able to pull lift carry squat twist kneel and reachVision adequate to read / manipulate handheld devicesTheanticipatedpay range for this position is $41600to $72200.00annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic addition to base pay this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.At Brunswick it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role.
