Fiber Arts Club Coordinator NeededLocation: Williston Central SchoolWilliston Central School is seeking a creative patient and enthusiastic Fiber Arts Club Coordinator to lead our middle school after-school Fiber Arts Club. This club provides students in grades 68 with opportunities to explore a variety of fiber and needle arts in a welcoming hands-on environment. The Coordinator will guide students in learning new techniques support ongoing projects and help foster a positive and collaborative club culture.Key Responsibilities:Recruit and encourage student participation through school announcements posters classroom visits and other outreach efforts.Plan and lead weekly after-school club sessions focused on a variety of fiber arts and needlework techniques (e.g. knitting crocheting embroidery weaving felting etc.).Provide step-by-step instruction and individualized support to students of all skill levels.Develop age-appropriate projects that build skills creativity and confidence.Maintain a safe inclusive and welcoming environment for all participants.Manage supplies tools and materials; track inventory and request replenishments as needed.Uphold all school policies and procedures.Qualifications:Experience with one or more fiber arts/needlework techniques required; ability to teach multiple techniques preferred.Prior experience working with middle-school-aged students (teaching coaching tutoring camp etc.) is strongly preferred.Strong communication organizational and classroom-management skills.Creativity patience and enthusiasm for hands-on learning.Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse learners.Compensation:This position is fully compensated through The Jeannette A.
