Data Center Fiber Technician Social Circle, GA: 4 techs (Local) Address: 240 Shire Parkway, Social Circle, GA 30025 We are seeking an experienced Data Center Fiber Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber and network infrastructure within a data center environment. Key responsibilities include mounting and installing racks, patch panels, fiber optics, and related hardware; terminating simplex and duplex jumper cords; and installing various fiber connectors (LC, SC, ST, FC, FDDI, SMA, MPO/MTP) for both single-mode and multi-mode fiber. The role also involves grounding equipment, managing tickets, maintaining network device inventory, and ensuring high-quality fiber connections. Candidates must be capable of working at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces, with the ability to distinguish colors, read small prints, and recognize audible signals. A flexible schedule with rotational shifts is required. Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a US data center environment Strong knowledge of server hardware, storage, networking, and troubleshooting Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
