This is a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We seek someone whose dynamic pedagogical approach fosters an inclusive and vibrant learning community. To oversee and guide the program this person must also demonstrate strong organizational communication and leadership skills. The ideal candidate possesses both a breadth of technical fiber art skills and a deep understanding of the history and complexities of the medium as it intersects with contemporary art practice. We seek someone committed to bringing students into conversation around emergent questions of cultural and environmental sustainability within the broad arena of fibers practice. This position includes service to the community college and/or department as defined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
