We believe that our differences enable us to be a better team one that makes better decisions drivesinnovationand delivers better business results.Opportunity OverviewThe Teradyne Field Applications team is looking for a highly motivatedenergeticand drivenField Application Engineerin ATE (Automated Test Equipment) and SLT (System Level Testing) who willwork collaboratively with the team as well as independently todetermineand develop imaginative thorough and practical application solutions.Develop debug and deployment of test solutionson ATEfor Digital High-Speed Digital System on Chip Mixed Signal and Analog semiconductor devices.Develop knowledge andexpertiseon SLT system integration.Test program software development often done in collaborative environmentLoad board/probe card schematics design and layout review for a test solutionAnalyze problems and recommend solutions on Teradyne ATE platform tooptimizecustomer throughputAble to work with test engineering customers to understand and improve test processes.Making recommendations to improvequalityof test coverage.Release to production of the test solution involving production handler and prober equipment; including correlation and gauge R&RDiscovery of customer requirements withfocuson:a) Conceptual design of hardwaresoftwareand test cell integration. b) Electrical and mechanical H/W schematics. c) PCB & H/W design inputs and requirements for interface hardwareDevelop new techniques and designs for characterizing and testing semiconductor devicesDemonstrate tester capability for customer evaluationsAssistcustomers on tester operation and capabilityProvide training technical exchanges and technical papersDevelop strong customer relations at a technical level to gain further insightto directionand needs of the customer.General understanding of ATE industry trends as well as competitive products and product positioning will be a plus.All About YouWe seek individuals who share our passion and determination. Ifyoureready to join us in this mission take a closer look at theminimumcriteria for the position.Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering or related fields5-8years of experience of semiconductor testing Industry and hands on experience on ICcomponenttesting project developmentMust have Test/Product engineering experience inDigital High-Speed Digital High-Power ComputingSystem on ChipMixed Signal or Analogtesting and test development on ATE (Automated Test Equipment) platformsPreferred to have experience in SLT functional testing anddebugat the system level.Preferred to havedevelopmentexperience on Teradyne or other semiconductor ATE platformssuch as TeradyneUltraFlex/UltraFlexPlus/ IG-XL Eagle Test Systems / EV /EV-MST Advantest V93K /SmarTest7 /SmarTest8 or other test equipmentStrong understanding of general software programming ( C# VB and/or C C Java) and common algorithmsProficient in Windows and ExcelKnowledge on handler and prober interface experience will be a plusPossess team skills and has ability to work independently as wellStrong analytical skills and practicalproblem solvingskillsSolid presentation skillsStrong proven interpersonal skills and commitment to teamwork and can-do spiritOutstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English and native languageProven technical recordDemonstrate strong interpersonal and relationships-building skillsSupervisory experience in leading teams (locally and globally) withpast experiencein employee management may qualify for senior positionAbility to travel 25% or more domestic and international.This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.Compensation:The base salary range for this role is$139400 range is a good faith estimate and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set.
