Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms routine maintenance on high purity water treatment systems at customer facilities. (i.e. Changing filters, water testing, tank exchanges, ro membranes, uv lamps/sleeves)Remove and load media into backwashing vessels along with rebuilding control headsDiagnose and repair water treatment equipmentMaintains effective, trusted working relationship with customersUses safe work practices driving to and from the shop, and at customer sitesMaintenance of accurate records and communication of all data collected at customer facilitiesPrepare and submit to customer and superiors, service reports detailing maintenance/equipment performanceParticipate in "on- call" rotationRequirements:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAt minimum, high school diploma or equivalent required, with 4 to 6 years industry-relevant experienceMust have a strong mechanical aptitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Problem-solvingAbility to manage and maintain confidential and proprietary informationGood organizational skillsBasic computer skills Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized and energeticAbility to understand instrumentation and controlsPlumbing/Electrical experience preferred, but not requiredExcellent customer service skillsAbility to lift without physical restrictionsValid driver’s license and clean driving record PHYSICAL DEMANDSPhysical DemandsLifting & Carrying-Regularly lift heavy equipment like water heaters, filtration units, pumps, and pipes (typically 50–100 lbs).Transport tools and materials in and out of work trucks and job sites.Manual Dexterity-Use a variety of hand and power tools—tightening fittings, cutting pipes, drilling, etc.Precision is key, especially when sealing joints or working in confined spaces.Bending, Kneeling & Crouching-Frequent squatting or kneeling to install systems under sinks, in crawl spaces, or basements.May have to maintain uncomfortable positions for extended periods.Climbing & Working at Heights-Climb ladders or stairs to access attics, roofs, or upper-floor plumbing systems.May need to balance while working on uneven surfaces.Standing & Walking-Long hours on your feet, often walking job sites or standing while installing equipment.Outdoor Exposure-Work in varying weather conditions—hot summers, cold winters, rain, snow—especially for outdoor or partially constructed building sites.Repetitive Motions-Repeated use of tools and similar motion patterns (tightening bolts, cutting, lifting) can take a toll on hands, wrists, shoulders, and back over time.Confined Spaces-Work in tight areas like under cabinets, crawlspaces, or utility closets, requiring agility and flexibility.
