The Operations Coordinator plays a key role in providing administrative support and project-related technical assistance to our Arkansas operations, specifically in and around the Pine Bluff area. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, clerical data-entry experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Document completed work on construction prints.
  2. Use Adobe Acrobat to transfer field data onto construction prints.
  3. Read and interpret documents for accurate conversion into Microsoft Excel formats.
  4. Create, prepare, and finalize reports, spreadsheets, trackers, and other documents, including WIP units.
  5. Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in data entry.
  6. Receive and enter production orders for jobs.
  7. Enter and approve production units for accounts payable.
  8. Track and communicate job production for crews.
  9. Assist with vendor and subcontractor WIP units.
  10. Submit confidential information to the Home Office.
  11. Assist with customer problem resolution.
  12. Assist with new-hire orientation by presenting materials and information clearly.
  13. Assist with driver records and DOT documentation.
  14. Answer telephone calls and emails.
  15. Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.

Position Requirements

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of data entry experience.
  3. Utility construction or telecommunications experience preferred.
  4. Experience working with construction maps and mapping software (graphic interface/layered graphics experience preferred).
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  6. Ability to read, interpret, and work with technical documents and mapping tools.
  7. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  9. Professional verbal and written communication skills.
