Field Research AssistantEpidemiologyLocation: New Orleans, LASummaryThe field research assistant will assist the principal investigator, field coordinator, and project manager to recruit participants from the Bogalusa population and examine participants for the study. Additional responsibilities include telephone calls and home visits in the community to assist with recruiting participants into the study, perform screening and examinations in Bogalusa field office, administering questionnaires, conducting interviews, and assisting with a variety of other study related tasks.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in Bogalusa is preferred, but not requiredExperience working on a research study or in a clinic setting is preferred, but not requiredExperience in the field of nursing (eg. LPN, CNA) is preferred but not required
