Job Description
The Field Sales Representative is accountable for direct sales and customer service support to Automation-Xs customers with a focus on new customer growth and increasing regional market share. This position is responsible for customer-facing visits phone email and customer cold calling. The Field Sales Representative works with customers in the field to deliver Automation-Xs products and solutions ensuring sales goals are achieved. The Field Sales Representative reports to the appropriate Sales Manager (if applicable) or the National Sales Manager.As an employee of Automation-X the Field Sales Representative is an employee owner in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAbility to multi-task prioritize and manage time effectivelyDeliver and exceed sales targetsBuild Sales Pipeline and Regional market shareAttract & Maintain Key Customers Customer relationship buildingDetailed knowledge of Automation-Xs products and solutionsProvide technical knowledge and support of Automation-X Products including application assessment for customer sites battery builds and configuration assistance Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction of Automation-Xs products and solutionsTimely reporting of customer meetings conference calls and expensesExternal & Internal correspondence Enter customer interactions into CRMRetention and growth of existing customersTravel to meet customers for face-to-face meetingsCollaboration with regional sales team on account strategiesOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
