We are a dedicated team of professionals who value innovation quality and a commitment to making high-quality lab testing more accessible.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Agilent LC/MS Engineerin Boston MA to support on-site laboratory operations as the primary subject matter expert for Agilent mass spectrometry systems. This full-time salaried position is based on-site and focuses on routine maintenance troubleshooting repairs and coordination to ensure high instrument uptime. Occasional weekend support may be required to meet operational needs with minimal travel (10% or less) for training or special assignments.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the on-site technical expert for Agilent LC/MS instrumentation.Respond to instrument failures and facilitate timely repairs to minimize downtime.Provide on-site and remote technical support to internal laboratory staff and Lighthouse team members.Work with management to escalate issues when downtime exceeds established thresholds.Track trend and support Preventive Maintenance (PM) and service metrics to meet Quality System objectives.Perform PM inspections and repairs for instruments under warranty or service contracts.Support new product installations operator training and assay validation activities.Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all service activities in accordance with Quality System requirements.Handle administrative duties including parts ordering service documentation and reporting.Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations Quality and Management to ensure instrument reliability and regulatory compliance.Participate in occasional travel (up to 10%) for training or special assignments.EducationAssociates degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences Engineering Medical Technology Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field.ExperienceMinimum 8 years of industrial or clinical laboratory experience performing routine and corrective maintenance on LC/MS systems including:Agilent LC/MS and MS instrumentationHands-on troubleshooting and repairs in a regulated laboratory environmentCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $150000 $160000Medical Vision and Dental insurance15 days Paid Time Off to start (vacation sick)10 Paid Holidays401(k) with up to 4% Company matchCompany-paid Life AD&D Short- and Long-Term DisabilityPaid Volunteer Time OffPartially Paid Medical Leave / Paid Parental LeaveEqual Opportunity StatementIt is the policy of Lighthouse Lab Services to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age color national origin citizenship status physical or mental disability race religion creed gender sex sexual orientation gender identity and/or expression genetic information marital status status with regard to public assistance veteran status or any other characteristic protected by federal state or local law.
