Field Service Technician - 1st Shift at Award Staffing

About the Opportunity:• Job Title: Field Service Technician• Pay Rate Range: $22.00-$30.00/Hour• Location: St. Louis Park, MN• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7AM-4:30PM with optional overtime.• Position Type: Direct HireRequirements and Qualifications:1. Good mechanical and electrical skills required.2. Minimum one to five years of work experience with similar types of equipment in a manufacturing environment.3. Fabrication and welding skills are a plus. 4. Ability to work in elevated areas.5. High School Diploma or equivalent is required.6. Current driver's license and safe driving record is required.7. Ability to read blueprints, schematics and understand technical data.8. Ability to use hand tools and trade type tools.9. Strong working knowledge of and compliance with lockout/tagout procedures.10. Must be able to lift 75lbs and be on their feet for the majority of the shift.11. Willing to work at heights of 10-25 feet.Duties and Responsibilities:1. Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists to verify safety and compliance with manufacturer, OSHA, and ANSI standards.2. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment (strong knowledge of electrical circuits a plus.).3. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities on equipment.4. Services existing accounts by analyzing work orders, planning daily travel schedule, investigating complaints, troubleshooting, and resolving problems.5. Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs and upgrades.6. Accurately document service and installation actions by completion of forms, reports, and inspection checklists.7. Builds and maintains customer relationships by maintaining good response times, informing. customers of problems and completion of jobs in a timely manner.8.
