Our employees enjoy challenging projects in the development and manufacture of light scattering particle counters and diverse technologies and applications.Your ImpactWe are looking for a Field Service Technician Hillsboro Oregon who will contribute to the success of the Field Service Team applying their expertise in Service to support the achievement of team and company goals and deliver innovative reliable this role the successful candidate will collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills and maintain a commitment to professional excellence quality and continuous improvement.The Role As a Field Service Technician youll be addressing Particle Measuring Systems customer equipment maintenance and repair needs. The position is tasked with assuring customer satisfaction through timely and efficient maintenance and repair and continual improvement in the quality of our products and services. This position is onsite in support of a major customer in Hillsboro OR.Job ResponsibilitiesCalibrating troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipmentSupporting customer calibration and maintenance of Particle Measuring Systems micro-contamination monitoring equipmentResearching customer problems and complaintsActing as a liaison between customers and various departmentsContinuously evaluate processes for improvements in efficiency quality and safetyThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Responsibilities may evolve over time and other related duties may be assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the company.Required QualificationsAssociates degree in Electronics or military equivalentAbility to read schematics in EnglishAbility to trouble shoot with minimal guidance1-year minimum previous Electronics Technician experience requiredKnowledge of lasers and/or collecting and condensing optics helpful but not requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independentlyMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsTeam player focused on customer satisfaction and quality with a sense of urgencyRequired skills: communication collaboration organization etc.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsThis is an onsite position located near one of our Semiconductor industry partners in Oregon.Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be requiredReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this roleCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive $32.00 39.68 per hour depending upon experienceOur compensation philosophy: we offer competitive pay based on market data including local national and industry benchmarks.
