We invite you to apply if you are ready to take the next step.We are looking for a/an Field Mechanicto join our ServicesAMEteam in United States.Your main tasks and responsibilities: At service center assembles all types of pumping equipment to customer OEM and industry standard specifications.Contours impellers and pump casings to meet hydraulic requirements following engineering directives and drawings.Independently sets up and operates dynamic balancing equipment balancing component parts to customer OEM and industry standard specifications.Performs final testing and inspection requirements when required.At service center disassembles all types of pumping equipment to gain access to remove clean and inspect components.Removes cleans and prepares all types of pumping equipment components for inspection.Inspects compares and records measurements of component parts to customer OEM and industry standard specifications using any and all types of measuring instruments tools and gages. Prepares equipment inspection reports.Participates in investigating and determining root cause failure of equipment and components and recommends repair methods and procedures.Determines the proper materials needed for repairs as per BOM.Travels to customer jobs sites to performs field service work.Performs hands-on repairs mechanical seal swaps bundle swaps equipment train alignments using laser alignment equipment removal and installation of pump trains and other work to customer pump systems at customer job sites.Supports remote field service group as necessary and as directed by service center managers.Completes and forwards all necessary paperwork for jobs to service outTo succeed in this role you will need:Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions and exchange information both verbally and in writingGood analytical and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detailExtensive knowledge and ability to use hand tools precision measuring and testing equipment and machine shop equipmentMinimum five (2) years pump repair experienceAbility to work with limited supervisionAbility to travel to work at customer sites when requiredAbility to work overtime as requiredWhat we offer you:15days of paid time off and 12 company-paid holidays401k plan with a 6% matchComprehensive health plan including medical dental vision Life short-term & long-term disabilityMotivating wellness programEmployee Assistance ProgramNo visa or work permit support can be provided for this role.We are looking forward hearing from you!
