Today Mercury Wireless' rapidly expanding network is headquartered in Kansas City and provides Internet access to communities throughout five states across the Midwest.Position Summary: The Field Services Team of Mercury Wireless is the customer facing unit of the company. The team should be professional in attitude and appearance and engaged with our customer's needs. Field Services should be mindful and thorough in their work; following installation and safety guidelines, and instructions from the Field Team Leader. Location: Plymouth, INPosition Type: Full-TimeCompensation: Competitive PayBenefits: Health, Vision, Basic Dental & Life Insurance, STD, LTD, 401k, Paid Time Off, Paid TrainingKey responsibilities and accountabilities: Installation of broadband equipment at customer premisesInteract with subscribers and represent the company in a professional mannerProperly configure and connect customer's home equipment to the Mercury Network Troubleshoot broadband customer equipmentAssist sales team with localized marketing efforts Skills & Requirements: Follow cabling procedures for wiring homes and businessesComfortable working on ladders, roofs, attics, crawl spaces, and other confined and elevated locations Basic mechanical skillsKnowledge of and ability to operate basic hand and power toolsBasic computer skills and proficiency with computersBasic computer networking skills and knowledgeUse of PC based applications to program and diagnose various communications equipment Clean driving record and valid driver's licenseSelf-Motivated Customer service oriented and professional in appearance Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Company Provided Training: Safety trainingOSHA CertificationsInstallation and equipment trainingEthernet wiringNetworking Training and ConceptsVoIP training Mercury Broadband is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
