Job Description

Full-timeDescriptionThe Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing mentoring and increasing the efficiency of the installation team.RequirementsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible to improve efficiencies for the installation team working in cooperation with the other field supervisorsMentor and monitor progress and growth development of the field techniciansSubject matter expert (SME) with residential and commercial audio/video products including but not limited to automation systems lighting control systems security systems networks access control systems and other low voltage productsPerform random spot check of installations travel to field technician job site to observe and verify the technician is capable of performing work assigned to company standardsAct as the first level of support to troubleshoot and resolve escalated issuesDevelop and help enforce a training program working in collaboration with the leadership team to identify training topics and subsequent implementation of training for field techniciansResponsible for hands on assistance in the field as required by working with the technicians on a multitude of projects and scope of work that requires such assistanceWork closely with scheduling teams to help resolve conflicts and to ensure that the correct resources are allotted to any given projectEnforce compliance of company policies regarding vehicle maintenance accident reporting etc.Handle after hours emergency service calls (as assigned on a rotation basis)Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Education Requirements:Must have a minimum of 5 years field experience preferably in residential or commercial audio/video installationStrong personal management skills dedication and organization requiredAbility to focus on relevant issues and present information effectively either verbally or in writingAbility to multi-task complete assignments and present work in a professional mannerMust be able to clear a background check and drug screeningClear MVR requiredTechnical or Vocational related schooling is preferredPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk use hands to finger reach with hands and arms stoop kneel talk and hear.Frequent use of step ladders and extension laddersFrequent amount of lifting up to 50 poundsOccasional lifting of up to 100 poundsWork Environment:Active construction sitesExposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity and exposure to dust.Moderate noiseFrequent local and occasional out of state travel requiredBenefits:Paid Time Off Program - Start accruing PTO your first week!Eight Paid Company Designated Holidays401(k) w/company matchHealth Dental and Vision Insurance options that start the 1st of the month after 60 days of employmentShort Term Disability OptionsLong Term Disability OptionsEmployee Assistance ProgramLife Insurance OptionsEmployee DiscountFree Alarm MonitoringTake home vehicleGas/Vehicle Maintenance paid by companyMonday - Friday daytime work schedulePositive work culture with opportunities for advancement and growthSalary Description$65000 to $80000 per yearRequired Experience:Manager Key Skills Vendor Management,Employee Evaluation,Construction Experience,Ecological Restoration,Industrial Cleaning,Military Experience,Security,Telecommunication,Financial Report Interpretation,Leadership Experience,Supervising Experience,Cabinet Installation Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Yearly Salary Salary: 65000 - 80000
