Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are a family-owned business and we are looking for Field Technicians to service the petroleum industry. This position would handle troubleshooting, diagnosing, upgrading, installing and repairing fueling equipment for the majority of the upper Midwest.This Job would be out of St. Cloud MN.You are Encouraged to apply if:You are someone is detail orientedA strong mechanical and technical aptitudeA strong work ethicYou are looking for a careerYou are trainable. We will invest in you as an employee and train on the job, you will get your certifications while training on the job.Experience in the following fields is helpful: Plumbing, HVAC, Mechanics, Robotics, MaintenancePosition Summary: Troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment in the petroleum industry.Accountable for diagnosing, repairing, configuring, and installing equipment and software sold by O’Day Equipment or requested by customers.Provides complete and accurate description of all work performed for invoicing and inventory controlGood internal and external customer service and communicationContinuous learning through vendor training, monthly safety training, new products and product updatesPosition Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Valid driver's licensePetroleum experience a plus, but not requiredStrong judgement and decision making skillsHigh level of self-accountabilityBoth mechanical and basic electronics skills preferredEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentWill provide on the job trainingMust be able to attend and pass required certifications for job.Physical Requirements:Physical Activity – frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motionHeavy Work – exerting up to 100lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 50lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 20lbs for force constantly to move objectsVisual Acuity – required to have close visual acuity to perform duties such as: visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, machine operation, using measurement devices, operate machines, perform mechanical work, operate motor vehiclesWorking Conditions – subject to both environmental conditions – activities occur inside and outsideRequirements:Valid and insurable driver’s licenseWindshield time with occasional overnightsBackground checkBenefits:401(k)/401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:Core business: Monday to FridayOn call required based on a rotating scheduleOvertime as neededWeekend availability if on call#hc160118
