Fighters (F-15 F/A-18) is looking for a senior manager to lead a team of Guidance Navigation and Control Engineers who execute critical development effort on F-15 EX Automatic Ground Collision Avoidance System (AGCAS) F/A-18 EF / EA-18G AGCAS as well as GNC related production and sustainment activities associated with F-15 and F/A-18.AGCAS is a very important safety related capability for fighters across Air Dominance and these two platforms are at the front end of the development and integration of this capability on Boeing products. Come join and help lead the team to provide this much needed capability to the warfighter.Position Responsibilities:Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Flight Engineering.Develop and execute business plans policies and procedures and develop organizational and technical strategies.Acquire resources provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements.Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.Manage develop and motivate employees.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement10 years of experience in an engineering discipline5 years of experience working Flight Controls related engineering3 years of experience leading teamsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearanceExcellent communication skills.Experience with Boeing military programs and processes.Experience developing and administering budgets schedules and performance standards.Prior oversight of technical effort of medium sized or multi-skill teams.Mentoring or technical lead engineer experience.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
