Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated File Clerk to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. This position involves providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of a busy call center within the non-profit sector. As this is a short-term contract to permanent opportunity, it offers the potential for long-term growth and skill development.Responsibilities:• Organize and maintain physical and digital files to ensure accessibility and accuracy.• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues with attention to detail.• Manage inbound and outbound calls, ensuring timely and effective communication.• Perform data entry tasks with precision to maintain accurate records.• Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings efficiently.• Handle email correspondence and respond promptly to inquiries.• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to create and manage documents.• Process order entries and ensure proper documentation.• Support the understanding and application of Low-Income Tax Credit Housing (LIHTC) and Fair Housing standards.• Proven experience in customer service or administrative roles, preferably in a call center environment.• Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.• Familiarity with Low Income Tax Credit Housing (LIHTC) and Fair Housing guidelines.• Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records.• Comfortable handling inbound and outbound calls.• Capability to manage schedules and appointments with attention to detail.• Knowledge of email correspondence and document processing.
