THE CITYs explanatory journalism has helped hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers to vote keep their apartments warm stay safe in dangerous weather and access public assistance.Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & BookkeepingEnter and code invoices accuratelyProcess 401(k) transactionsRun regular reports for financial control and compliance purposesMaintain vendor relationships and manage contract renewalsOperationsCreate and maintain recurring systems and processes that keep the organization running smoothlyCoordinate IT maintenance with our outsourced providerTroubleshoot system issues Research and recommend improvements to enhance organizational efficiencyServe as a resource for internal and external stakeholdersWho You AreDetail-oriented and reliable with strong organizational skillsCurious and proactive able to identify what needs to be done and take initiativeTrustworthy and discreet capable of handling confidential information responsiblyExcited to learn and grow your finance knowledge over timeA self-starter who can take projects from idea to completion with guidance and supportWhy Join THE CITYYoull be part of a mission-driven organization that values data-driven decision making and transparent reporting.
