This organization is deeply rooted in community impact and is seeking a strategic and hands-on finance leader who thrives in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.As the Finance Director, you will report directly to the Executive Director and oversee all financial operations of the organization. You’ll lead a dedicated accounting team of approximately five staff members and be responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, audit preparation, and ensuring compliance with nonprofit accounting standards. This is a fully onsite role that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to an organization doing important work in the region.Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of 5 accounting staff, ensuring timely and accurate financial operationsOversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning in partnership with executive leadershipManage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and produce internal and external financial reportsServe as the main liaison with external auditors and ensure audit readiness and complianceMaintain and strengthen internal controls and financial policiesUtilize BlackBaud Financial Edge to manage and report on financial dataProvide strategic financial guidance to support programmatic growth and sustainabilityIdeal Candidate Profile:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required)7+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership in a nonprofit settingStrong familiarity with nonprofit accounting principles and fund accountingProficiency with BlackBaud Financial Edge or similar accounting systemsProven leadership and team management experienceExcellent communication skills and a collaborative mindsetCompensation & Details:Salary range: $125,000 – $140,000, depending on experienceOnsite role in the Willamette Valley, offering a dynamic, values-driven workplaceComprehensive benefits and a strong commitment to employee well-being and professional developmentPandoLogic.
