Internship Opportunity At HP Tuners LLC

HP Tuners LLC is a global leader in the automotive aftermarket, developing software and hardware for vehicle calibration.

We are seeking motivated and detailed interns to join our team during the summer. This internship will provide hands-on experience in various accounting & financial aspects of HP Tuners' business. Interns will work closely with our team members to support day-to-day operations and gain exposure to real world working functions and situations.

Our summer internship program is approximately 10 weeks, with flexible start dates in May/June. This position will be 5-days onsite in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Perform general accounting tasks, including reconciliations and invoice handling
• Organize a financial filing system that is easily accessible.
• Prepare accounting reports to be presented to senior management.
• Assist on various reports for taxation compliance.
• Assist in month end closing procedures and timely preparation of financial statements.
• Assist with the balancing of the office/department budget.
• Contribute to ad hoc accounting projects as needed.

Skills and qualifications:

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or is a recent graduate in Accounting.
• Perform work under general supervision.
• Handle moderately complex problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Possess working knowledge of the subject matter.

Compensation and benefits:

At HP Tuners LLC, we understand that compensation plays a key role when considering a new opportunity. We are dedicated to ensuring fair pay for all employees and continually work towards greater transparency in our compensation practices. The estimated base rate range for this position is $18.00-$22.00 per hour, with actual pay determined including factors such as location, skills, experience, and other relevant considerations.
