Finance Manager at Chewy

Our Opportunity:Chewy is looking for a Finance Manager to join our rapidly growing Healthcare Finance Team! Combining an understanding of finance practical knowledge of financial statements and using data to make-and-drive decisions this candidate will be the financial and strategic partner to the Healthcare Merchandising Team. This role will focus on analyzing and evaluating new growth opportunities and strategic decisions for our business as well as forecasting and reporting functions and working cross-functionally to drive analysis and decisions.At Chewy we believe in ownership and accountability and value creativity. Of course thats not hard to do when you get to bring your favorite four-legged friend to the office.This position is based in Plantation Florida.What Youll Do:Perform modeling and analytics required to synthesize large sets of data and produce concise outputs to convey recommendation and/or conclusions to leadershipDevelop a deep understanding of the economics of Chewys Healthcare business and create financial models to drive assortment pricing promotion and other strategic decisionsWork cross-functionally with the broader Chewy Finance Merchandising Analytics Product Marketing Supply Chain and Accounting teams to fully understand the business its customers and its overall operations analyze investment opportunities and provide strategic guidance on growth opportunitiesEffectively manage numerous projects at a given time in a fast-paced environmentWhat Youll Need:Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting Business or similar required; MBA preferred5 years of relevant experience (Investment Banking Strategic Finance Financial Analysis Corporate Finance Ops/Supply Chain Finance) preferably with an understanding of brand or retail finance and financial modelingResults-oriented highly upbeat dynamic individual with hands-on mentalityStrong analytical and modeling skills (building from the ground up) and experience in supporting business case development forecasting budgeting and variance analysisAdvanced analytical skills and the ability to get into the details while also seeing and understanding the big pictureOutstanding written and verbal communication skills ability to communicate effectively with business leadersDemonstrated ability to deal with adversity and rapidly changing operating conditions while still delivering to expectationsEntrepreneurial mindset with comfort in both early stage and corporate environmentsFamiliarity with an e-commerce or retail business model a plusWorking experience with SQL or any other programming language requiredExperience Hyperion or any financial planning/EPM system a plusTravel not requiredRequired Experience:Manager Key Skills Cognos,Forecasting,Hyperion,Dealership Experience,QuickBooks,Accounting,Corporate Finance,Financial Analysis,Financial Modeling,Budgeting,Financial Management,Financial Planning Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
