Job Description

Position: Finance Manager Financial Planning and AnalysisReports to: Director FinanceLocation: Columbus OhioPay Range: $115000 - $130000We take into consideration a number of factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.Superior is looking for a Finance Manager Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to lead and manage our Corporate Finance function. This role will oversee the annual budget process leads variance analysis and reconciles monthly actuals to forecast. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus Ohio.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and develop a team of financial analysts while collaborating across the broader Finance teamPrepare monthly and annual forecasts and budgetsConduct monthly variance analysis on active construction projects and company ISGA (overhead) expensesAnalyze the companys WIP (work in progress) report and identify project finance risks and opportunitiesCollaborate with Project Operations Field Operations and Business Development to align on current and upcoming construction project performancePartner with business leaders on departmental ISGA cost planningOversee the companys billable rates creation and rate analysisSupport leadership with ad hoc financial analyticsYour CharacteristicsYoure organized great at prioritization and focused on achieving team goalsYou bring a strong analytical and curious mindset with critical thinking and a drive for continuous improvementYou collaborate well across departments and influence at all levels of the organizationYoure passionate about mentoring and investing in the professional development of junior colleaguesYou demonstrate success working with leadership to develop reporting tools that support business needs and decision-makingYoure trustworthy and able to exercise confidentiality and neutrality in sensitive situationsYour ExpertiseRequired: You have at least 8 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis project/operations finance or a related fieldRequired: You have prior experience in managing direct reportsRequired: You have earned your bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related disciplineBonus Points: Youre familiar with Finance in the construction industryOur BenefitsWe offer a range of professional and personal perks that you can enjoy as a member of Superior.
