Youll also take on a high-visibility role in our AI activation projecthelping bring innovation to life and supporting our digital transformation journey.In a dynamic matrixed and global environment youll have the chance to influence how we think about finance in a digital-first world.What Youll DoLead the annual operating plan (AOP) strategic plan (STRAP) and monthly/quarterly forecasting and reporting for Global IT & Digital.Deliver clear financial insights that guide strategy and operations for the Global IT & Digital leadership team.Act as finance lead for our AI activation initiativepartnering with digital technical and business teams to model investment returns evaluate outcomes and monitor progress.Provide trusted financial guidance and analytical support to Global IT & Digital leaderspromoting clarity accountability and optimal resource allocation.Lead mentor and develop a team of two finance professionalsfostering growth collaboration and continuous improvement.Collaborate across Controllership Technical Accounting M&A and Corporate FP&A to align on key initiatives accounting treatment and integration of digital investments.Drive operational improvement and automation within FP&A to enhance accuracy speed and insight quality.Prepare and present financial updates and insights to senior leadershipshowcasing thoughtful communication sound judgment and executive presence.Conduct ad-hoc analysis and modeling to support strategic decisions and business-case evaluations.How Youll Get HereEducation & Experience:Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred)10 years of dynamic finance experienceideally within FP&A controllership or technology financeExperience supporting global functions or large-scale digital/IT organizations is strongly preferredKnowledge Skills & Abilities:Expert in financial modeling analysis and reporting with strong data integrityBuilds effective cross-functional relationships in complex environmentsCommunicates financial insights into clear strategic recommendationsLeads through collaboration mentorship and influenceSkilled in financial systems data tools and digital/AI conceptsDedicated to continuous improvement and excellenceLeadership ExpectationsAt Thermo Fisher Scientific our leaders embody these values:Strong financial systems and analytical expertiseBuilds trust and drives cross-functional collaborationRecognized as a reliable strategic finance partnerExercises sound judgment and balanced decision-makingTakes ownership and aligns with company mission and valuesWhy Join UsHere you have the opportunity to shape the future of enterprise technology and innovationwhile driving the financial strategy behind it.
