Finance & Accounting Specialist$65k - 90k/year Hybrid (Wauwatosa WI) Full-TimeThis is a hybrid position all candidates must be able to work onsite at our Wauwatosa or Germantown WI offices as needed. BIM Technology Management (BIMTM) is hiring a Finance & Accounting Specialist to help strengthen and streamline our financial operations as we continue to grow. This role will work closely with our Accounting Director and leadership team to bring structure accuracy and clarity to our financial systems reporting and processes.We are currently implementing Unanet ERP building project-based financial workflows and refining how we track performance across multiple service lines. We need someone experienced organized and proactive who can manage the day-to-day financial operations while helping us build for the future.This position has the potential to grow into a more senior or executive-level financial role over time once the foundation is established and trust is built within the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial ManagementSupport development of annual budgets forecasts and cash flow planningPrepare monthly financial reporting packages and KPI summaries for leadershipAssist with refining project-based costing and margin analysisHelp ensure financial accuracy across departments including sales operations and project teamsAccounting OversightManage AP AR invoicing payroll processing reconciliations and month-end closeMaintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAPAssist Accounting Director with year-end financials and tax preparation coordinationMonitor billing cycles and ensure timely collectionsSystems & Process ImprovementSupport the Unanet ERP implementation including data validation workflow setup and team adoptionImprove and standardize processes across invoicing timekeeping expense reporting and financial controlsStrengthen cross-department communication around financial expectations and timelinesOperational & Business SupportPartner with Operations to improve project tracking forecasting and financial visibilitySupport pricing models estimating structures and service profitability analysisIdentify workflow bottlenecks and recommend improvementsAssist leadership with financial modeling and scenario planningRequirementsQualifications510 years of experience in finance accounting or financial operationsStrong understanding of GAAP budgeting forecasting and project costingExperience in construction engineering or other project-based industries is a significant plusExperience with Unanet ERP or similar systems is highly preferredStrong communication skills; able to work across operations accounting and leadershipComfortable in a growing small-business environment with evolving processesBonus SkillsExperience with ERP implementations or system transitionsBackground in professional services or consulting organizationsAbility to create structure documentation and scalable processesFamiliarity with KPI reporting and financial dashboardsBenefitsWhy Join BIMTMBIMTM is a fast-growing BIM coordination and consulting company built by people who understand the trades the field and the realities of construction.
