Financial Accounting ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company Midwest Financial Accounting group is hiring a Financial Accounting Manager (Level K) located in one of the following locations:Missouri: Berkeley or HazelwoodIllinois: ChicagoWashington: Everett Renton Seattle or TukwilaManager of Midwest Financial Accounting responsible for the sales & earnings accounting group in addition to the Cost & Financial Structure Management (CFS&M) group. You will support and manage the monthly and quarterly accounting close cycles. Leads and motivates a largely virtual team including members from TCS. Coordinator of Boeings blackline reconciliation tool. Position Responsibilities:Leads the Sales and Earnings and Cost & Financial Structure Management groupsUses and understands enterprise accounting and finance systemsManages the Boeing wide Blackline reconciliation tool and a process owner for SOX controlsPrepares and reviews journal entries supporting schedules financial analyses and account reconciliationsGathers information from a variety of systems and tools to help management make decisions and improve processes.Participate in special projects and other technical accounting matters as they ariseWorks closely with external auditorsLeads and motivates a largely virtual team including members from Tata Consulting Services in IndiaThis position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
