Title: Financial Advisor / Wealth Advisor Location: Melville, NY Duration: Full-Time direct hire Job Description: Onsite Position As a Financial Advisor, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their financial journeys. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning services, including investment management, estate planning, and wealth management. Your expertise in financial concepts and analysis will help clients achieve their financial goals while ensuring compliance with securities law and tax regulations. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary relationship manager for a select group of clients, developing a deep understanding of their values, goals, and priorities. Develop and implement personalized financial plans for clients based on their individual needs and objectives. Deliver holistic financial advice across investments, retirement planning, estate considerations, tax strategies, and risk management. Engage clients in thoughtful conversations, simplifying complex financial concepts into clear and actionable strategies. Maintain strong customer relationship management practices to foster trust and long-term partnerships with clients. Qualifications & Experience: 5-10+ years of experience as a Financial Advisor, Wealth Manager, or similar client-facing role in an RIA or wealth management firm with an existing book of business Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business or related field, Master' degree a plus. CFP, CFA, CPA, or similar designation strongly preferred. A strong background in financial sales or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of estate planning, tax experience, and wills & trusts is highly desirable. Proficiency in financial concepts such as wealth management, investment management, cash management, and portfolio management is essential. Familiarity with accounting principles and practices is beneficial. Experience: developing relationships with high wealth clients: 3 years (Required). Financial Advisor: 10 years (Required).
