Join us in creating a community of connected care, where coordinated, quality service is the norm and every member feels valued.Medica's Senior Financial Analyst (FA III) will report to the Corporate Finance Director and provide support for financial planning, budgeting and forecasting to drive data-informed decisions across the organization. Performs other duties as assigned.Key AccountabilitiesAssist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including variance analysis and key performance metricsBuild and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planningCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Product / Segment Finance and Actuarial to ensure financial accuracy and alignmentMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide variance analysis with actionable recommendationsIdentify process improvement opportunities and contribute to automation initiativesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience in related field5+ years of related experience within data analysis, financial reporting and forecastingExpert or advanced MS Excel skill and PowerPoint experiencePreferred QualificationsHealthcare experience and healthcare economics knowledge are plusesAdaptability and fast learning ability. TM1 and/or SQL experiences desiredResult driven and detail oriented with the ability to manage and collaborate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAnalytical, decision-making, and organizational skills. Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insightsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsThis position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite at our Minnetonka MN office, on average, 3 days per week.The full salary grade for this position is $68,800 - $118,000. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $68,800 - $103,215. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
