Job SummaryThe Financial Analyst is responsible with assisting the department in the areas of general ledger management payroll review and analysis month end closing fixed asset accounting and accounts payable while having a strong understanding of internal controls. Key ResponsibilitiesComplete SMT weekly projection to help meet budgetReconcile ADP payroll entry reconcile entry to general ledger and make necessary reclasses when necessaryAssist payroll and KRONOS as neededReview open capital projects with the engineering departments monthly or as neededMeet with purchase service as neededEnsure all capital projects are closed promptly and properly including: gather invoices update taxes and freight charges create packet and send to project manager to review and create closure request.Maintain FA registerdispose assets review for impairment & update files for fixed asset inventoryUpdate cash out for capital.Review payments and open POs to ensure facility is in line to meet corporate driven projectionsComplete tag control inventoryEnsure that the yearly SOX project is completed accurately timely and efficiently.Complete month end closing responsibilities including: JEs settling CIP maintain month end book balance sheet recons maintain month end check list review check list for full detailsUpdate sales daily and report to managementUpdate weekly projections for Flash by communicating with all departments on expensesReview the open PO report at the end of the month and discuss with the requisitioner on expected delivery. Review current processes and ensure sure we are following SOX US GAAP and FM Policy. Review weekly invoice account code all expenses get the invoices prepared and ready to be sent to purchasingQualificationsBachelors degree accounting finance or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting positionKnowledge of specific principles and procedures of Accounting and Finance including federal and state policiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of Payroll ProcessesRequired Experience:IC Key Skills Cognos,Forecasting,Hyperion,Microsoft Access,Pivot tables,Accounting,Analysis Skills,Microsoft Excel,Financial Analysis,Financial Modeling,Budgeting,Financial Planning Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
