DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead core accounting operations and provide reliable financial insight for a growing construction organization. This position will oversee day-to-day financial activities, strengthen internal processes, and support executive leadership with clear reporting, forecasting, and business recommendations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, leadership capability, and a background managing financial performance in a construction or project-based environment.Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reportingManage and maintain accurate Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules, ensuring proper revenue recognition and job costingLead and oversee AIA billing processes, including preparation, submission, and reconciliation of progress billingsMonitor and analyze project financials to ensure profitability and cost controlDrive cash flow management, including forecasting, collections, and payment strategies to maintain strong liquidityCollaborate with project managers and operational teams to ensure financial alignment on project performancePrepare and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to senior leadershipEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal controls, and support audit processes as neededIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance functionRequirementsThe ideal Financial Controller will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.Other requirements for the Financial Controller role include and are not limited to:Proven experience in the construction industry is requiredStrong knowledge of WIP reporting and AIA billing processesDemonstrated expertise in cash flow management and forecastingSolid understanding of job costing and project-based accountingProficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFor more information on this Financial Controller position and other full-time accounting and finance opportunities, please contact us at 484.214.2365 and reference JO#03710-0013424726.Job typePerm
