Financial Planning & Analysis Manager Hybrid (Orange, CA) at AECOM

AECOM is seeking an FP&A Manager to support the development and achievement of the organizations goals and objectives by providing accurate insightful and timely finance support analysis and leadership. This individual will be responsible for analyzing and presenting financial performance metrics supporting the delivery of key departmental initiatives and communicating monthly business results against agreed performance targets to the Finance Leadership team. The individual will also play a key role in the annual operating planning process.  This individual will provide financial consulting and strategic support to corporate Leadership including identifying researching analyzing and presenting critical business drivers trends and project-level analysis.This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual work to be based in Orange CA.Responsibilities:Lead the review of monthly performance with corporate leaders including the interpretation of financial performance (balance sheet P&L & cash flow) compared to Plan Prior Year and Prior Outlook.Drive initiatives to enhance financial performance -- identify research and analyze critical financial drivers risks and opportunities.Analyze forecast and present financial data to corporate leaders on a monthly basis.Partner with Internal Customers to establish and maintain metrics for cost savings process improvement and management reporting.Provide leadership to ensure financial plans are cohesive and aligned to overall Enterprise strategy.Prepare and maintain financial models including evaluating key assumptions building scenarios and performing sensitivity analyses.Provide finance support for key strategic initiatives and develop ad-hoc analyses.Interact with a broad spectrum of cross-functional and geographically diverse colleagues.Perform other related projects and duties as requested.Qualifications : Minimum Requirements:Bachelors degree plus at least 8 years of relevant experience in finance and/or accounting within a public company of similar structure and complexity to AECOM or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationStrong capabilities in business analytics tools. Very strong quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data including financial statements key financial ratios valuation models and techniquesHigh proficiency in PowerPoint and advanced Excel; experience involving extensive work with complex spreadsheetsStrong organizational skills - ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to establish strong working relationships.  Effective at building appropriate rapport and interacting with a broad spectrum of cross-functional and geographically diverse colleagues.Solid business acumen and ability to convey complex conceptsAbility to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and work successfully both independently and in a team.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Cognos TM1 Oracle eProcurement systems and Hyperion a plusExcellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skillsMBA or CPA is a plusExperience interacting with senior leadership adaptable to interact regularly with various levels of the organizationExperience leading a team including direct reportsAdditional Information : Sponsorship for US work authorization is not available for this position now or in the futureRelocation assistance is not available for this positionAbout AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
