This is a high-visibility, onsite role leading the accounting function and strengthening the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial reporting. We are seeking a hands-on, process-driven finance leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is motivated to build best-in-class accounting operations.Position OverviewThe Financial Reporting & Accounting Manager will oversee the daily accounting activities, manage and mentor the accounting team, and ensure timely and accurate month-end close and financial statement preparation. This individual will play a key role in improving internal controls, enhancing reporting capabilities, and partnering with cross-functional leaders across Finance, Operations, and senior management. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, manufacturing experience, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Accounting Operations Supervise, develop, and support the accounting team. Oversee general ledger management, AP/AR, payroll-related accounting, and other daily accounting functions. Lead the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.Financial Reporting & Compliance Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards. Coordinate with external auditors and support audit activities.Process Optimization & Systems Streamline and standardize accounting processes, improving accuracy and efficiency. Enhance documentation, SOPs, and internal accounting workflows. Utilize ERP and reporting tools to strengthen data visibility and financial insights.Cross-Functional Partnership Collaborate with Operations, FP&A, and senior leadership to support strategic initiatives and operational decision-making. Provide financial insights, variance analysis, and recommendations to drive improved performance. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CMA preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting best practices. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment highly preferred. Proficiency with ERP systems and strong Excel skills. Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
