If you have a passion for rallying together to solve complex challenges then come join our dynamic FSO team!The opportunityThis role offers a unique opportunity to lead the implementation configuration and enhancement of the Charles River Development (CRD) optimizing front-to-back investment processes and driving operational excellence. The role requires strong functional understanding of asset management operations and hands-on experience with CRD modules.Your key responsibilitiesAct as a subject matter expert on Charles River Development (CRD) functionality across trading compliance portfolio management and post-trade workflows commonly used by asset managersPartner with portfolio managers traders compliance and operations to gather and document business requirementsConfigure CRD components (workflows compliance rules blotters manager workbench etc.)Translate business requirements into detailed CRD configurations workflows and rulesPerform system analysis data mapping and testing for CRD integrations with upstream/downstream systems including IBOR reference data pricing feeds risk and accounting systemsUse CRD SDK and APIs to support data exchanges and integration enhancementsSupport SaaS migration including transition from on-premise environments to cloud-hosted solutionsCollaborate cross-functionally with technology data and operations teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and system capabilitiesSupport enhancements bug fixes and upgrades to the CRD platformFacilitate workshops walkthroughs and design discussions with global stakeholders to communicate functional requirements and validate proposed solutionLead functional testing UAT coordination and documentation of solution designWork closely with data governance and architecture teams to ensure data integrity across CRD IBOR and downstream systemsSkills and attributes for successTeam with client technology professionals and/or third-party strategic alliances to provide implementation of technology solution.To qualify for the role you must haveA bachelors degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 2-3 years of related work experienceYour degree should be in computer science engineering accounting finance or a related field; MBA or MS degree preferred2-3 years of experience working at a financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services companyExperience working in a Hedge Fund Asset Management company or as a Management Consultant in one of these companies3 years of hands-on Charles River (CRD/CRIMS) experienceStrong SQL and data analysis skills for validating CRD data flowsDemonstrated experience supporting SaaS migrations including transition from on-premise environments to cloud-hosted solutionsDemonstrated ability to partner with a team of technology advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle including requirements definition architecture design development implementation conversion and testingStrong communication presentation client service and technical writing skillsComfortable researching client inquiries and emerging issues including regulations industry practices and new technologiesStrong experience in executing all phases of the technology life cycle based on proven project management and testing methodologiesIt is essential that the successful candidate possess a deep knowledge of technical architecture design and have a good understanding of technology tools and components to reasonably argue for and against all components (middleware database reporting tools etc.) in financial systems architectureWillingness and ability to travel candidate must have a passport and a valid drivers licenseExperience in the following areas:Charles River (CRD)SaaS migrationSQLDefinition and design of business and technical requirementsSystem design selection and implementation supportData mapping and conversionProof of conceptQuality assurance and testingBusiness and IT process reengineeringProgram/project management and implementation planning (PMO)Management reporting enhancementEnterprise application integrationCustom developmentPackage ImplementationWhat we look forWere interested in leaders with a genuine creative vision and the confidence to make it happen. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $102500 to $187900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $122900 to $213400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge skills and addition our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage pension and 401(k) plans and a wide range of paid time off options.Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model.
