Job DescriptionJob DescriptionFire Alarm & Intrusion Technician – Virginia (Richmond or Surrounding Areas)Pay: $28–$38/hr depending on experienceType: Contract-to-Hire (probationary period before permanent hire)Schedule: Full-time | Local travel within VirginiaWe’re seeking a skilled Fire Alarm & Intrusion Technician to join a growing team supporting commercial service and installation projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and takes pride in quality work and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:Install, program, and service fire alarm and intrusion systems in commercial facilitiesConduct inspections, testing, and preventive maintenanceTroubleshoot panels and wiring for systems such as Silent Knight, Honeywell, or BoschInterface professionally with clients and provide clear documentation of workRequirements:3+ years of experience in fire alarm or intrusion systemsAbility to read blueprints and wiring diagramsFamiliarity with NFPA 72 and applicable local codesNICET I–II or FASA/BASA preferred but not requiredMust have valid driver’s license and clean backgroundContract-to-Hire Details:This position begins as a contract role to ensure mutual fit and performance.
