Our Service and Warranty Department is well established and prepared to provide post-construction services. The Special Projects Division handles the most difficult and challenging projects

We are currently seeking a seasoned Fire Alarm Technician to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will be a key player in our mission to provide the highest standards of safety in all our construction projects. With over 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm systems in compliance with OSHA 30 regulations and other relevant standards.
Responsibilities
As a Fire Alarm Technician, your responsibilities will include:
1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems across different construction projects.
2. Conducting regular inspections and system tests to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
3. Diagnosing and rectifying any faults or malfunctions in the fire alarm systems.
4. Providing technical support and guidance to construction teams regarding fire alarm systems.
5. Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with OSHA 30 safety regulations.
6. Preparing and maintaining accurate reports and records of all installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair work.
7. Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and engineers to obtain necessary equipment and components.
8. Training construction team members on fire alarm system operation and safety protocols.
9. Providing prompt and efficient responses to emergency call-outs.
10. Staying updated on the latest fire alarm technology and safety regulations.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Fire Alarm Technician position should have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician in the construction industry.
2. Extensive knowledge and understanding of OSHA 30 regulations and other relevant safety standards.
3. Proven experience in installing, testing, inspecting, and maintaining fire alarm systems.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and rectify faults in fire alarm systems.
5. Strong technical knowledge of the latest fire alarm technology.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide technical support and guidance to construction teams.
7. Ability to work independently and handle emergency call-outs promptly and efficiently.
8. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work.
9. Ability to prepare and maintain accurate reports and records.
10. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different construction sites as required.
