As an employee at Duro Dyne you reap the benefits of being part of an expanding company that still maintains a progressive employee culture and atmosphereThe Fire Damper Machine Operators primary function is to fabricate and assemble fire dampers.Job Duties:Must follow guide from Lead person(s) for basic assembly of fire dampers.Run roll forming machines.Assembly of finished dampers.Mig welding machine partsMust be able to work within multiple departments and run multiple machinesCommunicate any issues that arise effectively Safely operate machines while maintaining a clean and safe work areaUse of assorted metal cutting saws and electric handheld and manual tools.Operate multiple press breaks.Bench Assembly Assembling products together per company standards.Machining of component parts - use of sharp cutting tools to remove excess material from a part.Other duties as assigned.Skills & AbilitiesBasic math skillsTape measure readingExcellent communication & interpersonal skillsMust be flexible OT and weekends are required as neededAbility to use low voltage electric current readers.
