Full Time Fire/Intrusion Alarm Technician

Security Zone Inc. is an alarm company that services the 5 boroughs of NYC (NYC, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island) New Jersey and Connecticut. We are looking for a full-time alarm technician, who is enthusiastic with good problem solving skills and has the ability to be detail oriented.

Security Zone is willing to train applicants with minimal experience.

Job Qualifications:

Job applicants should have the ability to complete the following:

Installation of intrusion systems for residential and commercial locations

-Includes but is not limited to: wire runs, mounting alarm panels (burglary/fire) mounting window and door contacts; physical ability to climb ladders and carry up to 50lbs.

Installation of surveillance systems for residential and commercial locations

-Includes but is not limited to: wire runs, mounting cameras, install Digital Video Recorders and/or Network Video Recorders, fire alarm sirens and access control systems; physical ability to climb ladders and carry up to 50lbs.

Installation of fire alarm systems for commercial locations

-Includes but not limited to: installation, maintenance and service of fire alarm systems, test and inspection services.

Special attention will be given to applicants who have the following qualifications:

-Knowledge of NAPCO and/or SILENT KNIGHT systems

-Knowledge of programming alarm and/or surveillance systems

The job does require a CLEAN VALID driver license, and Security Zone will provide a vehicle to commute to job sites.
