Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingCompetitive salaryDental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceLead Fire Sprinkler TechnicianLocation: Rockville MDAbout the OpportunityThis position requires the ability to service inspect and repair sprinkler systems for established customers on a scheduled basis and to be available for on-call rotation.Job DutiesConduct service calls performing onsite emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers fire sprinkler systems identifying code and non-conformance issues.Interpret and apply NFPA 25 codes during testing and inspections.Willing to become or currently NICET certified in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems.Perform Fire Pump Flow Tests (preferred but not required).Prepare accurate detailed and timely service tickets and reports.Communicate with customers to explain the work being performed and any necessary repairs.QualificationsA current valid drivers license with 3 or fewer points.At least three years of licensed driving experience.Two or more years inspecting and repairing fire sprinkler systems.Strong knowledge and understanding of NFPA codes.Comfortable working on ladders (612 ft) and lifts.Able to lift up to 70 lbs and work overhead or in small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.Well organized with the ability to maintain service tickets and required documentation for each service performed.Benefits401(k) with company matchMedical dental and vision insuranceCompany-paid short-term and long-term disabilityCompany-paid life and AD&D insurancePre-tax accounts for health and dependent careAflac coverageVacation and personal timePaid holidaysTuition reimbursementThis is a remote position.
