First-Line Manufacturing ManagerCompany:Argon STThe Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a First-Line Manufacturing Manager to join the team located in Smithfield PA.Position ResponsibilitiesShapes a culture of safety and well-being through personal behavior and accountability within the organization.Develops and engages team to instill a 0 tolerance for FOD and a commitment to first time quality and safety.Manages employees performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.Applies understanding of cost management principles and develops strategies to ensure performance to operating budgets.Ability to review and execute plans make adjustments and resolve issues impeding production.Proficiency in quality procedures and process compliance.Creates a culture of continuous improvement.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.Manages develops and motivates employees.Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.Acquires resources provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Shift: This position is for 1st shiftThis position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience): More than 1 year of experience leading or managing a team or project.More than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing fabrication or maintenance repair and overhaul environment.More then 3 years of experience with Word Excel Access Outlook and PowerPoint.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):Experience with earned value management/budget management principlesand practices.Experience implementing lean manufacturing and/or other process improvement methodology.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
