Job Description
Job Title: Brake Press OperatorSalary: 18-22/hourShift: 1st Shift - 5:00am - 3:30pm , M-F Summary: We are looking for a skilled and dependable Brake Press Operator / Setup to join our Fabrication Department. This role is responsible for setting up and operating Cincinnati Press Brakes equipped with 5-axis back gauges and laser safeguarding systems. The operator will bend, shape, and form metal components to precise specifications using both CNC and manual controls. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in fabrication, blueprint reading, and precision forming.Job Responsibilities:Set up and operate Cincinnati Brake Presses with 5-axis back gauges and laser safety systems.Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and work orders to determine machine setup and bending sequence.Select and install correct tooling, dies, and punches according to job specifications.Perform initial part inspections and regular in-process checks using precision measuring tools.Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate and consistent production results.Work with a variety of metals including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.Accurately complete production and quality documentation.Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all plant safety procedures and policies.Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting when needed.Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and team members to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
