DescriptionFiscal Analyst 1Full Time Non-PermanentLocation: Tumwater WASalary Range: $4735- $6356 MonthlyThis non-permanent position is represented by the Teamsters 117 Bargaining Unit.The Washington State Department of Corrections is seeking a highly skilled and qualified numbers guru to join the Business Services Payroll team as aFiscal Analyst 1 (FA1)! The goal of this position is to support the Departments goals and objectives by developing systems and processes that ensure that every paycheck created will be treated as if it were their own and that the fiscal responsibilities to the State of Washington are met with the highest level of integrity.As a Fiscal Analyst 1 (FA1) you will support the four main strategic goals of the agency including maintaining core correctional operations focusing on the workforce increasing successful reentry of offenders to communities and Improve business practices and performance. Core correctional operations are maintained through accurate payroll ensuring that the fiscal needs of department staff are met.You will be responsible for maintaining a positive and respectful workplace climate within business services and for ethical fair and sound employee conduct. The goal is to support a work environment that promotes successful satisfied healthy and productive employees. DOC staff contribute to successful reentry by modeling professional and ethical behavior through respectful interactions with others.
