FISCAL & POLICY ANALYST at City of New York

This position will work with the Budget Director to execute several budget and fiscal responsibilities of the Office of the Queens Borough President.Duties include:Executing discretionary funding contracts including working with funding recipients to ensure completeness of all contract requirementsReviewing contracts with Agency Chief Contracting Officer to determine contract compliance with City rules and determining eligibility of capital funding requests. Analyzing in detail the New York City Preliminary Executive and Adopted BudgetAssisting the Budget Director in any other functions related to budget and fiscal mattersAgency Tin match AdministratorVendor creation and complianceMeet with various organizations to discuss funding requestsCompile and process budget data for analysisAssist with interoffice Fiscal OperationsPosition may require some night and weekend work during peak timesFISCAL & POLICY ANALYST (BPQ) - 13436Qualifications : Minimum Qualifications1.A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to 1 or 2 above.
