JOB DESCRIPTION
Fiscal Services Manager
The Baldwin Park Unified School District is seeking a Fiscal Services Manager for the Early Childhood Education Program. Under the direction of the Director of Early Childhood Education, plan, organize, direct, manage and evaluate District/Program accounting, budgeting and payroll activities; manage and direct fiscal year-end closing process; establish and revise accounting and payroll processes and procedures; conduct accounting and budget analysis; and provide complex staff assistance to multiple administrators and managers.
Requirements: Five years of responsible accounting and financial record keeping experience, including at least three years of responsible experience in public education. Two years of experience as a supervisor of accounting and financial record keeping operations. Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in accounting or business administration. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required college education on a year-for-year basis. A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between job sites may be required.
Preferences: A certified public accountant or has, at a minimum, a baccalaureate degree in accounting, business, fiscal management, or a related field.
