Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDepartment: Parks and RecreationSupervisor: Fitness ManagerLocation: The Pointe at Ballwin Commons, #1 Ballwin Commons CircleJob Summary:This part-time position is responsible for the daily basic maintenance and cleaning of the fitness area, fitness equipment, and other duties as assigned. Will be familiar with the operation of each piece of fitness equipment in order to assist the general public. Will also be able to interact with the general public by answering questions about the fitness area and the rules for that area.Essential Job Functions:Must work with the public in a professional mannerPerform daily cleaning tasks in the fitness areaEnforcement of building and fitness area policies and rulesKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:Ability to work with the general public in a professional mannerAbility to work and communicate with children in an effective mannerAbility to communicate effectively with other staff membersAbility to work independently and efficiently without routine supervisionEducation, Qualifications and Experience Required:Must be at least 16 years of ageMust be able to work a minimum of 12 hours a weekMust be able to work a variable schedule if necessary.
