This role requires a strong background in aqua group fitness instruction, a commitment to safety, and the ability to create inclusive and motivating classes for members of all fitness levels.Availability includes multiple day parts during the weekTeaches a minimum of two weekly classesLead safe, effective, and high-energy aqua classesProvide modifications and progressions as neededEngage with members before and after class to build continuously build communityEnsure a safe environment through proper supervision and use of equipmentCollaborate with the Group Fitness Manager to maintain programming excellenceQualificationsCertified Group Fitness Instructor (ACE, AFAA, or equivalent)Aqua-specific certification (AEA, SCW, or equivalent) preferredCPR/AED certification (required or willing to obtain)Previous experience teaching aqua or water fitness classesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsPay Transparency: $65-$75 per class; $16.50hr for non-class hoursAdditional InformationAS A MEMBER OF THE EQUINOX TEAM YOU WILL RECEIVE:Complimentary Club membershipPerks and incentives with our products and services including Personal Training, Pilates, Spa and Shop  This job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position.
