Our service center handles a large fleet of Ford service trucks (E and F series light duty gasoline engines) and sales vehicles. Ford maintenance, general repair and Ford IDS experience a plus. This position pays by the hour!Job Responsibilities:Performs thorough and accurate Preventative Maintenance inspectionsCompletes all required preventative maintenance operations including lubrication, fluid changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotationMust operate non-CDL vehicles (light-duty) to perform road tests, as well as shuttle in and out of the garage for repairs and maintenanceMust be able to operate bench grinder, torch, welder, oil pumps, power washer, brake lathe and other hand tools required to perform workDocument repairs and parts on work orders completely and accuratelyMaintains tools and workplaces so that conditions are neat and orderlyMust be thoroughly familiar with all safety provisions associated with vehicle maintenanceOther responsibilities as assignedJob Qualifications:Minimum of 3 year of verifiable automotive mechanic experienceAble to safely lift 100 poundsComplete set of tools requiredHigh School diploma or GEDMust have excellent communication and organizational skillsGood mechanical aptitudeValid driver's license - must be able to meet all requirements to operate commercial vehiclesOur benefit offerings include:Medical, dental, and vision options: Available on the 1st day of the month following your start date!Paid time off plan: 13 days accrued annually during your 1st year; 16 days accrued during your 2nd year!Paid Holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas DayFloating Holidays: Up to 2 floating holidays per yearCompetitive compensation: Including annual performance evaluations!401k retirement plan: Including an employer match!Company paid: Life insurance, short-term disability, & long-term disabilityand more!Successful completion of references, employment verifications, background check, and drug screen required in advance of hire.DH Pace Company, Inc. does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firms or agencies.
