Fleet Mechanic at Proscape Landscape

We are looking for a Fleet Mechanicto join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles, small equipment, and transmission systems.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and service all vehicles - diesel and gas
• Repair and service small equipment (2 stroke string trimmers/chainsaws) as well as mowers and other power equipment including pressure washers, riding mowers, trenchers, etc.
• Maintain all equipment in fully functional condition and document all service records and work completed on a daily basis
• Responsible for the organization and general cleanliness of yard facility with the assistance of the yard helper
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer

Qualifications:

• Experience with fleet management - oil changes, filter changes, tire rotation and replacement, brake systems, and documentation of work done to each vehicle
• Driver's license to pick up and order parts as necessary
• Familiar with a broad range of mechanics from 12V electrical, hydraulic lines and cylinders, engines from small 2 stroke to large Cummins diesels
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
