Flight Engineering Manager (Flight Engineering Management)Company:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is looking for an Air Dominance Loads & Dynamics Senior Manager to join our team in Berkeley MO. This senior manager leads a team of Loads and Dynamics Engineers who conduct Flight Loads Ground Loads as well as dynamics/flutter work.The successful candidate will have experience with all aspects of aircraft loads and dynamics with deep experience expected in at least one specialty loads area like Flight loads ground loads or addition to technical qualifications to cover the product lifecycle experience with program and customer interactions as well as cost control account and personnel management are expected.Position Responsibilities:Responsible for the overall success of a diverse loads and dynamics team within an integrated product team structureManage a team of 12 to 25 employees engineering and technical activities in the areas of Flight EngineeringDevelop project plans aligned with program objectivesImplement plans to ensure business technical and customer requirements are achievedAssign authority and responsibilities to employees to execute product design and developmentReview plan execution makes appropriate adjustments and resolves issuesMonitor appropriate metrics to ensure performance to planReport cost schedule and technical performance to program leadershipForecast resource needs and make hiring decisionsCoach counsels mentors and provides developmental opportunities and job assignmentsEnsure employees are working effectively.
