Flightline Operations ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking First-Line Flightline Operations Managers (Level K) to support the 737 Field Operations team in Renton WA. This position is available for our 2nd or 3rd shift and will be determined at the time of offer.This position will require the candidate to use their business leadership and people skills to inspire a safe work environment and exceptional performance to develop and execute business plans policies and procedures. Successful candidates must be able to develop and maintain relationships with customers stakeholders cross-functional support and direct reports.Position Responsibilities:Ensures that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation systems operation functional testing modification maintenance troubleshooting repair preflight and postflight checks release for flight and preparation for deliveryInterfaces with flight crews engineering management suppliers and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptanceDevelops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goalsAcquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reportsProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processesManages develops and motivates employeesThis position is expected to be 100% selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Renton WA.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3 years of experience in an Aerospace Fabrication or Manufacturing environment3 years of experience working in a cross functional environment1 years of experience in a formal or informal leadership positionPossess an FAA Airframe and Power Plant License OR the aircraft years and experience necessary to obtain an FAA Repairmans certificateAbility to work variable shifts including weekends and overnights as neededPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3 years of flight line operations experience3 years of functional test knowledge3 years of experience working with live customers3 years of experience with any of the following: quality assurance troubleshooting capabilities functional test knowledge release ticket experience manufacturing and/or structures3 years of proficiency using CMESShift: This position is for 2nd or 3rd shift and will be determined at the time of offer.Drug Free Workplace:Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policiesSafety Sensitive:This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) random drug and alcohol testing.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
