Flightline Operations ManagersCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Flightline Operations Managers (Level K) to support the 737 Preflight and Delivery team onsite in Everett Washington on variable shift.A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability trust teamwork quality and safety. This role will lead a team of 10 people.Position Responsibilities:Ensures that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation systems operation functional testing modification maintenance troubleshooting repair preflight and postflight checks release for flight and preparation for deliveryInterfaces with flight crews engineering management suppliers and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptanceDevelops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goalsAcquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reportsProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processesManages develops and motivates employeesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3 years of experience in an aerospace fabrication or manufacturing environment3 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership rolePossess an FAA Airframe and Power Plant License or the aircraft years and experience necessary to obtain an FAA Repairmans certificateMust be able to work variable shifts including weekends and overtimePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):1 years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Teams Word Outlook Excel and PowerPoint)1 years of experience in flight line operations1 years of experience in a customer-facing role1 years of experience working with Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES)1 years of experience in functional testing1 years of experience with aircraft troubleshooting and/or component troubleshootingDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift:This role is for a variable shift; there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
